Seasonal readiness

The busiest month is
the worst one to be
the only one answering.

You already know what last November felt like. The same questions, hundreds of times, at hours you should have been asleep. SupportBot answers them from your own store content, around the clock, and hands you only the ones that genuinely need a human.

The part most apps skip

Your busiest month is when
metered apps cost the most.

This is the trap in seasonal support tooling. Apps that bill per conversation, per ticket, or per AI resolution charge you the most in exactly the month your volume spikes, and several of them publish an overage rate that applies the moment you pass your allowance. A good week for your store becomes a bad line on your invoice.

SupportBot has no overage charge of any kind. If November takes you past your plan's replies, the widget keeps answering on a lighter model instead of going dark or adding to your bill. The price you agreed to in September is the price you pay in December.

Getting ready

Three things to do
before the surge.

  1. 1

    Install and sync

SupportBot reads your products, pages, blog posts and policies on install, then re-reads them whenever you change something. Your shipping cutoff dates and returns window are answerable the moment you publish them.

  2. 2

    Write the seasonal answers once

Order-by dates, holiday returns window, delayed-shipping wording, gift notes. Put them in your policies or in custom knowledge notes and SupportBot answers from them, in your own tone, for the whole season.

  3. 3

Decide where the hard ones go

Anything SupportBot cannot answer honestly gets handed to you by email, or Slack on Growth and Pro, with the full transcript and a short written summary. You are not reading every chat, only the ones that need you.

Questions

Before you commit.

How long does setup actually take?

About five minutes, and no code. You install the app, it syncs your store content by itself, you turn the widget on in your theme, and it starts answering. There is no knowledge base to write by hand.

What if November is busier than my plan?

Nothing gets charged and the chat does not switch off. SupportBot emails you at 80% of your monthly replies, and past the limit it keeps answering on a lighter model with SupportBot branding shown until the month resets or you upgrade. The full mechanism is on the billing page.

Will it invent a delivery date to get rid of a shopper?

No. SupportBot answers from your own store content, and for order status it only reads the order of a signed-in customer. If it cannot verify something, it says so and hands the chat to you. Guessing a shipping date in December is exactly the failure we built it to avoid.

Is it too late to set this up?

No. The useful window is the weeks before the surge, because the content sync and your seasonal answers want a little time to settle. If you are reading this in October you are early, and if you are reading it in November it still beats answering the same question by hand at midnight.

What happens after the season?

Nothing changes and nothing auto-renews into a bigger plan. You stay on whatever plan you chose, and you can downgrade or cancel from the app at any time.

Set it up now.
Let November answer itself.

Start on the Free plan and see it answer from your own store before you decide anything. Growth covers up to 2,000 questions a month for $29, with no overage line on the invoice.
