Answers from your store, never invented
Every answer comes from your own products, pages, and policies (on Growth and Pro, straight from a live look at your store). And if the answer isn't there? SupportBot says so, instead of making something up.
AI support for Shopify stores
SupportBot reads your products, pages, and policies, then answers customers from them, day and night. It can check what's in stock, build a cart, and send a shopper to checkout. And when it doesn't know? It says so and hands the chat to you. No made-up answers.
Sound familiar?
Sizing. Shipping times. "Where's my order?" "Is this back in stock?" You answer the same handful of questions over and over. Nights, weekends, from your phone. Hiring someone isn't worth it yet. And a generic bot that makes things up and embarrasses your store in front of a customer? That's worse than no bot at all.
How it works
Install the app and SupportBot reads your products, pages, blog posts, and policies. Edit anything in Shopify and it picks up the change on its own: nothing to maintain by hand.
The widget answers customers from your real store content. On Growth and Pro it goes further: it checks live stock, prices, and your shipping and returns policies. It can add the right items to a cart and send the shopper to Shopify's own checkout.
When a customer needs a human, you get the full conversation plus a short summary by email (or Slack on Growth and Pro) and pick it up personally.
What you get
Every answer comes from your own products, pages, and policies (on Growth and Pro, straight from a live look at your store). And if the answer isn't there? SupportBot says so, instead of making something up.
On Growth and Pro, SupportBot checks your actual store before it answers, so "is this in stock?" or "how long do returns take?" gets today's real answer, not last week's copy.
SupportBot can add the right items to a cart mid-conversation and send the shopper straight to Shopify's own checkout. It never takes payment or completes a purchase itself.
A signed-in customer can ask where their own order is, when it ships, or whether a return is possible (no order number needed). Starting a return, or asking about someone else's order, still goes to you.
Paste a few examples of how you write and SupportBot answers like your best support agent, not a robot. On Growth and Pro, upload a PDF of your brand guidelines for even closer matching.
When a chat needs you, it lands in your inbox (Slack too on Growth and Pro) with the full conversation and a short summary. Reply once, and SupportBot remembers your answer for next time.
One simple dashboard shows what customers asked, what SupportBot couldn't answer, and how shoppers rated the help. It even suggests which FAQs to add next, based on real questions from your store.
Your store's data stays yours: hosted in the EU, never shared between stores, and deleted completely the moment you uninstall. GDPR requests are handled automatically through Shopify.

No. SupportBot only answers from your store's actual content (or, on Growth and Pro, from a live check of your store). When it can't find a reliable answer, it says so and offers to hand the conversation to you instead of guessing.
Yes, for signed-in customers on Growth and Pro. They can ask where their own order is, when it ships, or whether a return is possible (no order number needed). It never shows anyone else's order, and starting a return still goes to you.
It can, on Growth and Pro. SupportBot searches your live catalog, adds items to a cart, and sends the shopper straight to Shopify's own checkout. It never takes payment or completes the purchase itself.
It tells the customer honestly instead of guessing. From Starter up, you're also notified automatically (by email, or Slack on Growth and Pro) with the full conversation, so you can follow up personally.
Yes, on Starter and above: paste a few examples of how you write and SupportBot answers in your tone. Growth and Pro can also upload brand-guideline PDFs for even closer matching. Free-plan replies use our default warm, helpful tone.
Automatic store sync (up to 50 products, 5 pages, 5 blog posts), a 5-entry FAQ builder, and a SupportBot-branded widget answering on our fast model. No credit card, no time limit. Tone matching, human handoff, live product search, cart actions, and order lookups come with paid plans.
A simple view of how many questions were answered, which ones SupportBot couldn't handle, and how shoppers rated the help. It shows you exactly which FAQs to add next, no digging through transcripts.
One answer written by SupportBot in the chat widget. Limits reset every month. If you reach your plan's limit, the widget pauses politely until the next month or an upgrade. Your customers never see an error.
Yes. Every store's data is kept fully separate, and SupportBot implements Shopify's GDPR rules: customer data requests, customer deletion requests, and full removal of everything when you uninstall. See our privacy policy for details.
No. The chat widget is a tiny piece of code (under 30KB) that loads after your page and runs in its own container, so it can't interfere with your theme.
A note from the founder
SupportBot is new, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. There's no wall of logos here: just a product I've built carefully, a free plan so you can test it on your own store, and a founder who reads every piece of feedback personally.
If you want in early: the founding beta gives about 25 stores the Growth plan free for around three months, with founding pricing locked for life after. Your store's real questions will shape what gets built next.
